The Vancouver Island Women’s Business Network, a non-profit organization, announces its Connecting the World to Victoria Silent Auction and Mixer Event, Tuesday May 20th, at the Sea Cider Vintage Cidery.  Once again, we offer you the opportunity to be part of this fun evening of promotion and connection with local entrepreneurs and businesses.

Our partner this year is the Intercultural Association of Victoria (ICA), who for more than 35 years has been connecting the world to Victoria through their programs.  Twenty percent of our fundraising will support the ICA Host Mentoring Services. 

        “ICA Host Mentoring Services matches internationally trained professionals with qualified mentors in the same or related career field to help them become familiar with their profession in the Canadian context.  Mentors  share their professional knowledge and experience, providing encouragement and support to a skilled newcomer.  The mentors get a better understanding of their trade or profession, and learn more about issues facing new Canadians.”

The cost is $35.00 (members and guests) and includes a Cider tasting with appetizers, entertainment and the silent auction.  We encourage you to attend and bring your friends, spouses and partners. 

This year we have four Sponsorship Levels:  Connecting, Global, Local and Worldly Victoria Silent Auction.  We will contact you to discuss your level and answer any questions.
