WBN Information & Business Etiquette
Welcome and thank you for your interest in our organization! You may attend two of our events to determine if we are the right fit for you and your business. When you are ready to become a member of our organization we have application forms available at the events or you can register on-line from our Join Us page.
At the events, please sign our registration form at the door and provide us with your contact information and business card.
Part of our purpose and what we do as an organization is to provide:
- a forum for networking, and the exchanging of ideas and experiences
- support, encouragement and promotion of each other's businesses through the membership directory and referrals
- opportunity for members to support each other in business by looking first to the membership directory for business needs; and, refer members to others
- occasions for members to develop skills and strengthen network relations through sharing information, volunteering and participating in committees
- a place for business women to celebrate their achievements
Our luncheons are informal social events that provide a platform for every business woman present to learn about other women and their businesses; therefore, we are guided by the following business etiquette:
- there is no direct solicitation at our luncheon tables
- there is no booking of appointments at the tables
- foyer space in the hotel is suitable for meeting after the event
- this etiquette is also adhered to at our mixer events
